How a club day runs

From the first tee to the final putt.

01

Set the round

Pick the course, set playing groups and tee times. Pars and stroke indexes are already loaded, so a round takes minutes to set up.

02

Players score

Each group enters scores hole by hole on a phone — Stableford points are worked out automatically from playing handicaps. No app to install, and dead spots on the course don't matter: scores queue and sync when signal returns.

03

The board moves

Positions update as cards come in — in the clubhouse, in the group chat, at home. When the round is confirmed, it counts toward the season.

The scorer

One tap per hole.

Any player in the group can keep the card for the whole fourball — strokes in, Stableford points worked out, straight onto the club's board. No signal on the back nine? Scores wait on the phone and sync when it returns.

The season

Every round counts.

Each completed round feeds the season Order of Merit — a running standings table across the whole year. Members always know where they sit, and the season stays alive from the first round to the last.

Provenance

Built on real club days.

Flagstick was built alongside the Portugal Golf Society, which runs its weekly Stableford rounds and season Order of Merit on it. It's shaped by actual Saturdays — late arrivals, regrouped fourballs, phones with no signal on the back nine — not by a feature list.

Onboarding

Set up for you.

No self-serve forms, no spreadsheet wrangling. We configure your courses, members, handicaps and season personally — most clubs run their first live round within a week of getting in touch.

Questions

The short answers.

What is Flagstick?
Flagstick is a live golf leaderboard platform for golf clubs and societies. Players score Stableford rounds hole by hole on their phones, and a shared leaderboard updates in real time for everyone at the club. It also keeps season standings — an Order of Merit across all your rounds.
Do players need to install an app?
No. Flagstick runs in the browser on any phone. Players sign in with an email link — no passwords, no app store, nothing to update.
What formats does Flagstick support?
Net Stableford with playing handicaps, with gross scores recorded alongside. Ties are settled on the board (best gross), and every completed round feeds the season Order of Merit.
What happens when there's no signal on the course?
Scores are saved on the phone and sync automatically when signal returns. Nobody re-enters anything and the board catches up on its own.
How much does Flagstick cost?
€149 per month per club — early access pricing. Setup is included: we configure your courses, members and season for you.
How long does setup take?
We onboard your club personally. Most clubs run their first live round within a week of getting in touch.
